Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Status Harbor ("Service"), operated by Status Harbor ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Status Harbor is an uptime monitoring platform that provides HTTP endpoint monitoring, SSL certificate monitoring, DNS record checks, incident tracking, status pages and notification integrations (Slack, Telegram, Webhooks).

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You may register using email and password or through third-party authentication (Google OAuth). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Subscription Plans and Payment

The Service offers the following plans:

  • Free — 5 monitors, 3-minute check intervals, HTTP monitoring, email alerts, 1 status page
  • Pro ($9/month or $7/month billed annually) — 25 HTTP, 15 SSL, 15 DNS, 15 Cron monitors, 1-minute checks, email, Slack, Telegram & Webhook alerts, 5 status pages

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Solidgate. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will remain at their current price until the next renewal period.

4. Free Plan and Upgrades

You may start with the Free plan at no cost. Upgrading to Pro takes effect immediately and you will be charged the applicable fee. If you cancel your Pro subscription, it remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to monitor endpoints you do not own or have authorization to monitor
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service as a tool to generate excessive traffic to third-party services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including monitor configurations and check URLs.

8. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Hobby plan.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Status Harbor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Specifically, Status Harbor is not responsible for any damages resulting from a failure to detect downtime, delayed notifications or inaccurate monitoring results.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Status Harbor operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
