Telegram

Alerts via the Status Harbor Telegram bot. Works with private chats, group chats and group topics (so you can route alerts to a specific channel inside a forum-style group).

Setup

  1. Settings → Integrations → Telegram, click Connect.
  2. Status Harbor generates a one-time deep link to the bot.
  3. Open the link on a device with Telegram installed and press Start — for a private chat — or add the bot to your group and press Start there.
  4. The bot subscribes the chat and the destination shows up in Status Harbor.

The deep-link token expires after a short window; if it does, just generate a fresh one.

Group topics

If your group has topics enabled (Telegram's forum feature), add the bot to the group, then send /start from inside the topic you want to receive alerts in. The destination will be tagged with the topic ID.

Multiple destinations

You can connect as many private chats and groups as you want. Each has independent notify on start / notify on resolve toggles.

Removing

If the bot is removed from the group or blocked in the private chat, the destination is marked blocked the next time a send fails. Add the bot back and re-connect to restore it. Use the destination menu's Disconnect to remove it cleanly.
